Love Island’s Joe Garratt has broken his silence, after Lucie Donlan finally revealed her real feelings for Tommy Fury during last night’s episode.
The surfer babe was coupled up with Joe before he was voted off the show earlier this month.
During Joe’s time in the house, the 22-year-old questioned Lucie’s close friendship with Tommy, which caused fans of the show to turn against him.
However, it turns out Joe’s suspicions were right all along, as Lucie admitted to having feelings for the pro boxer during Friday night’s episode.
After watching Lucie pour her heart out to Tommy, Joe simply tweeted: “Always trust your gut instincts.”

The scenes were obviously hard for Joe to watch, as he previously said that he would like to pursue things with Lucie once she left the villa.
Fans even believed that Joe would be sent back in to reunite with her, but now it looks like that isn’t likely.
