Love Island’s Dani threatens to END her relationship with Jack in tonight’s episode

The couple fell out over Jack's lie detector results

Things turn from bad to worse for Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham on tonight’s episode of Love Island.

Monday night’s episode ended with the couple getting into a massive row after Jack failed to pass a lie detector question that asked if he would be tempted to cheat outside of the villa.

And in a teaser for Tuesday’s Love Island instalment, Jack and Dani continue to argue as she admits, “I can’t be with a liar.”

Confiding in pals Laura Anderson and Alexandra Cane, Dani tells them, “Obviously with Jack, ever since I’ve been in here, you know, it hasn’t been easy the stuff I’ve always heard from the outside.”

“His past, the girl that he was with was in here, she explained how he was to her and it was awful for me, it was not the Jack I knew,” she said.

“I completely get that I probably have changed Jack…everyone wants to be that girl. I want to be that girl when I get out of here, and have all that. I don’t want my boyfriend’s head to be turned. Does any girl?”

Meanwhile, Jack rants in the Beach Hut, saying, “What is the point? Just going around in circles. I’ve said ‘mate, you’ve got nothing to worry about.’ My head isn’t going to be turned, I’m not going to be tempted on the outside by any girls at all. It’s not going to happen.”

He continued, “All I’m getting back is ‘oh no, you will.’ What do you want me to say then? ‘Oh yeah, I will be.’ I don’t understand it. The only way I can set that straight is when we leave, I can’t change it in here.”

Tensions escalate further when the pair get into bed later that evening, and Dani tells Jack to start looking for another girl.

An annoyed Jack hits back, “You’re doing the worst thing you could possibly do by saying ‘don’t be with me then’.”

When Dani replies, “Obviously because you’re upsetting me, you keep making me feel like it’s my fault,” Jack says, “You went about it wrong, I’m sorry, and then you stormed off, I’ve never stormed off from you.”

Their fight takes a turn for the worst then, when Dani tells him, “Maybe you deserve better then,” before the pair turn their backs to one another.

Thankfully, Dani appears to have cooled off the next morning as she tries to make amends with Jack.

After sitting down for a chat, Jack tells her, “I understand why you were upset about being tempted outside. I understand why you were a bit upset about that. But I haven’t actually done anything.'”

And Dani explains, “I know you haven’t, I never said you had done anything though. It just upset me the whole situation why that one come up, I couldn’t understand why. Why you’d be unfaithful on the outside?”

“Because me and you have been so good in here that when that question came up of course I’m going to think ‘what?’ Of all the questions, I don’t care about any of the other ones. That one is so important to me.”

In an attempt to reassure Dani, Jack says, “The only thing I can say to you is that when we leave, you’ll see that you have nothing to worry about, you really have got nothing to worry about.”

“But essentially, I love you, want to be with you, and I want to have a family. That’s what I want out of us two and I’m so happy that I’ve found it.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on 3e.
