Love Island viewers were treated to a spectacle on tonight’s episode, as the contestants took part in the heart monitor challenge.

The female and male villa residents put on a sexy show for one another, while the other group is strapped up to heart monitors.

The challenge is traditionally divisive, as it is revealed who each housemate had their heart pounding the hardest for during the dance.

Both groups dressed up in sexy costumes, and put on a serious performance for the opposite team.

While some had their hearts pulsing for their partner – Tommy by Molly-Mae and Anna by unofficial partner Jordan – others got their heart rates up for more controversial characters.

Micheal was most excited by Amber’s dance – despite ditching her in Casa Amor for newcomer Joanna.

Joanna was not impressed by the result, awkwardly laughing into her hand and looking shocked.

During the episode, Amber broke down, revealing that she still has feelings for ex Michael.

Curtis and Maura had their hearts racing for one another, after sharing a very steamy make out session during their dances.

Maura has revealed that she has feelings for Curtis, and is currently vying for his affections against newcomer Francesca. Francesca had her heart sent racing over Jordan’s dance, as did Anna, Amber and Molly-Mae.

Belle and Joanna both enjoyed Anton’s dance the best, while Jordan’s heart pumped for Belle.

New male villa resident Chris enjoyed Molly-Mae’s French maid performance the most.

Ovie enjoyed Michael’s partner Joanna’s dance more than the other girl’s.

In the end-of-episode teaser, it was revealed that the islanders will be faced with a girl’s-choice recoupling tomorrow night.
