Love Island star Yewande Biala has revealed she was disciplined by Love Island bosses, after she pretended to “choke” Molly-Mae Hague.

Weeks after she was dumped from the Island, the Irish scientist admitted that she received a few warnings from producers during her time in the villa.

Speaking to Closer, Yewande said: “I got told off a couple of times but it was mainly when I was upset about the whole Danny thing.”

“Molly asked me what I’d do to Arabella or why I was so angry and then I choked Molly and said I would do that to Arabella. That wasn’t very nice.”

The news comes after original Islander Sherif Lanre was kicked off the show after just nine days, after he accidentally kicked Molly-Mae in the groin during a ‘play fight’.

Love Island bosses made huge changes to their duty of care processes this year, following the deaths of two former Islanders – Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis.

The Love Island final airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
