Former English football WAG and model Joanna Chimondes was dumped from the Love Island villa tonight.
The model had coupled up with Michael, before receiving the least amount of votes from the islanders when they were forced to decide whether she or her partner should go home.
22-year-old influencer was faced with a tough entry into the villa, after Michael dumped his partner Amber for her. Throughout her time in the villa, Amber confessed that she still had feelings for him.
Joanna was upset during her departure, branding Michael a “snake,” after he said he had found what he was looking for in the villa – but did not leave with her.
Upon leaving, Joanna was asked what she hoped would happen between her and Michael once the show was over:
“I want to live my best life and continue being me and not changing for anyone,” she replied.
“Me and Michael will have to see how he gets on whilst he is in the villa and when he gets out, so for now there is a pause on us. You never know if he’s going to crack on with Amber.”
“If they’re meant to be, they will be. If they do get together and are happy, I’ll be happy for them.”
The model expressed that she wanted Michael to leave with her when she was booted from the villa:
“Part of me expected Michael to leave with me, however I don’t want to be in control of someone’s life journey and if he wants to continue in the villa, to get to know someone else or see where things go, I’ve got respect for that.”
“It is a bit disappointing but I’d never hold that against him.”
