Love Island: Amy says Maura is using Curtis to ‘stay in the villa’

Amy Hart has left the Love Island villa, after removing herself from the show following her split from”half-boyfriend” Curtis Pritchard.

The air hostess has opened up about seeing her friend Maura pursue Curtis in the villa since her departure.

Speaking on Loose Women, the blonde said that she feels Maura is being tactical in her affections for the pro-dancer.

“I had said that, once I was out of a couple I won’t be here for much longer because obviously to stay in Love Island you have to be in a couple,” she told the panel.

“And I think when it got down to it, there was George, Marvin and Curtis left.”

“Obviously Marvin was out of the equation and Ovie was out of the equation too, and George was out the equation, so Curtis was the best option for her at that time to stay in the villa.”

Amy revealed that while she was not very close to Maura in the villa, she was on good terms with the Irish model.

“So for then her, to, yet again, move the goalposts to suit her situation, to decide we were never friends in the first place because she wanted to get with Curtis, obviously it’s not the most ideal thing,” she confessed.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm.
