Is The Jetsons getting a live-action reboot?

The Jetsons may be landing back on our TV screens soon.

Warner Bros. is developing a live-action sitcom reboot of the beloved cartoon, according to TVLine.

The company will allegedly be shopping the project around to broadcast and cable networks in upcoming weeks.

Little else is currently known about the show, but it would be set 100 years in the future much like the original series.

Exciting: Warner Bros. is developing a live-action sitcom reboot of The Jetsons | Hanna-Barbera Productions

The Jetsons originally ran from 1962 to 1963 and was set in 2062.

New episodes were made from 1985 to 1987 and in 1990, Jetsons: The Movie was released to serve as the show’s series finale.

The show served as a futuristic counterpart to The Flinstones and followed a Space Age family living in Orbit City where flying cars and holograms are the norm.

And there’s set to be even more of The Jetsons to come, as an animated feature film is also in the works at Warner Bros. with Sausage Party co-director Conrad Vernon at the helm.
