Jennifer Maguire: 'I couldn't film on the streets for Republic of Telly because of pregnancy'

Jennifer Maguire has revealed she had to take a bit of a step back while filming the new season of Republic of Telly.

The 2FM host is back for series 11 and said she had to be careful about what she filmed, because she needed to protect her baby bump.

“I have had to stop doing a lot of vox pops because of the pregnancy and have concentrated mostly on sketches which has been fun,” she said.

The comments come after Jennifer told Goss.ie she had to quit RTE series The Fear, after nearly being knifed.

But the mum-to-be said she is still busier than ever, and will start filming The Unemployables alongside Darren Kennedy soon.

“The schedule has been crazy over the last few weeks,” she wrote in the Irish Sun.

“With the filming and the radio and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to slow down as my new series with Darren Kennedy starts filming soon.

“As they say no rest for the wicked and to be honest I’m loving every minute of it.”

“I can’t believe it’s series eleven — the longest running home grown comedy show so I feel very proud to be part of it,” Jen added.
