James Patrice announced as Rose of Tralee Reporter

James Patrice has been announced as the Rose of Tralee reporter this year.

The infamous international festival is most well known for the final day where all contestants compete for the crown.

This year there are 65 Roses competing, the most there’s ever been.

The Snapchat star shared the good news on his Instagram.

Posing beside the host of the Rose of Traless competition Dáithí Ó Sé, the blogger revealed how excited and delighted he is to be

“Beyond excira and delira to be RTE1’s Rose Reporter on RTÉ Social for this year’s #RoseOfTralee!” James wrote

“You can check out all the backstage action on RTÉ One Facebook, and on Snapchat on rteonesnaps.”

The fashionista also shared a video on his Facebook page talking to TV presenter.

The Dubliner asked Daithi how all the preparation for the contest is going.

“We have a lot of the prep done, we’ve met all 65 Roses,” he told James.

“We have 65 Roses this year, this has never happened before.

“We’re heading to Tralee after the launch today and we’re on stage Wednesday and Thursday.”

Dáithí has hit out at critics of the festival and admitted that it’s “a celebration of women.”
