I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have revealed which celebrity ‘keeps wriggling out’ of entering the jungle.
Speaking at the Royal Television Society conference in Cambridge, the telly duo said controversial TV host Piers Morgan has been close to signing up for the show – but he’s yet to sign on the dotted line.
Dec said: “Piers has said he would do it for a certain amount of money, which I think we could meet, but he keeps on wriggling out of it.”
Ant added: “We have a list that we get every year and we add to it and subtract from it.”
“On our list at the moment, one person we are tracking down this year is Richard Madeley. Tim Westwood. I would like to see that. Alan Shearer, the list is endless.”
Responding to Ant and Dec’s comments on Twitter, Piers cheekily tweeted: “Sure.. £5 million & I’ll do it.”
The line-up for I’m A Celebrity, which returns later this year, is yet to be confirmed – but a host of well-known faces have already been linked to this year’s series.
Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, TOWIE and Love Island star Olivia Attwood, former footballer Ian Wright, and Paul Hollywood’s ex Summer Monteys Fullam are rumoured to appear on the show when it returns this November.
