Holly Willoughby gets HUGE pay rise to ‘match wage’ of This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield

Holly Willoughby has reportedly received a £200k pay rise to match her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield’s salary.

Holly and Phillip have worked together for 11 years, and now the blonde presenter will finally earn the same wage as him.

Source say they came to an agreement during negotiations for Dancing On Ice, which Holly and Phil will present together when it returns to ITV later this year.

Bosses came to the conclusion that if Holly and Phil were earning the same £200k fee for Dancing on Ice, they should also earn the same on This Morning.

It was previously reported that Phillip was earning £600k hosting This Morning, while Holly was making £400k.

A source told the Daily Mirror, “It seemed ridiculous they were going to get paid the same fee for Dancing on Ice but Holly was lagging behind on This Morning. Quite rightly, that has now been rectified and they both earn exactly the same.”

The news comes after the BBC published details of their star’s salaries – which revealed a massive gender pay gap, with only a third of the station’s top earners being women.
