The unfathomable is happening today, in so far as a wilding is marrying a man from South of the wall, Jon Snow no less!
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, who played Jon Snow and Ygritte on the HBO hit show Game of Thrones are getting married.
The pair met on the hugely popular show in 2012 and will tie the knot in Wardhill Castle today, which is owned by Seb Leslie, the actress’s father.
The stars of the show were given time off filming to attend their co-stars’ wedding.
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, and Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, both arrived in Aberdeen on yesterday ahead of the celebrations.
Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, was seen papped Facetiming finacé Joe Jonas when she touched down in Aberdeen.
The BBC heard Mr Leslie, an Aberdeenshire councillor, saying outside the castle that he was “absolutely thrilled” for the couple on their wedding day.
“It’s an absolutely lovely day for us,” he added.
Their engagement was announced last September and we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for photos from the ceremony today!
