Francesca Allen speaks out about her ‘feud’ with Caroline Flack

Francesca Allen has responded to claims that there is a grudge between her and Aftersun host Caroline Flack.

Speaking to her Instagram followers, the reality TV star said: “It’s all a learning curve. Me and Caroline get along really well.”

“I don’t use Twitter and those words didn’t come out of my mouth. It’s all getting blown out of proportion.”

“Me and Caroline had a little drink and a chat after Aftersun. So yeah, we get along really well. I don’t know what this is all about!”

Caroline previously responded to claims that she “snubbed” the Love Island contestant on Aftersun.

Viewers pointed out that there was an awkward moment on the show when Francesca appeared to expect a hug from the presenter, but Caroline walked past her.

In her Instagram story, Francesca also explained that the blunder was her fault, as she was meant to remain seated as Caroline walked across the stage to interview the other guests.

Caroline has responded to the claims via Twitter, tweeting a statement to her almost 10 million followers.

“As you know … I hate commenting on stuff…” she wrote.

“I didn’t snub Francesca .. in fact quite the opposite .. made her feel very welcome as soon as she got to the studio.”

“I don’t hold grudges.. and the wellbeing of our islanders is important to me. Thought she was a great islander,” she concluded.

The claims came after an old tweet by one of Francesca’s friends was dug up.

In 2012, a pal of her’s tweeted: “Highligh of the dayyy seeing Caroline Flack and calling herrr a dirtyy pedo withhhh @francesca_allen hahaha.”

The tweet was allegedly in reference to Caroline’s then relationship Harry Styles.

“This was a historic tweet that has not come from Francesca directly,” a statement from Francesca’s camp read at the time of the tweet’s resurfacing.

“Francesca can’t reply as she is in the villa but she would be mortified if she was judged based on the actions of a 16 year old friend.”

“She has a lot of respect for Caroline and is looking forward to meeting her.”
