Following Ant McPartlin being charged for drink driving this week it was announced that Declan Donnelly would still present the Saturday Night Takeaway despite his co-host’s absence.
Fans are now calling for jokes previously made about Holly Willoughby stepping in for Ant, back when he did his first stint in rehab, to come true.
At the start of ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ Dec made reference to the jokes but Ant had recovered in time to present the hit show with him.
Fans think the time is now for Holly to make her ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ debut.

Commenting under Declan’s statement about continuing the season finale without Ant they expressed their opinions regarding other potential co-hosts.

Holly is most well known for her infectious laughter presenting This Morning with Phillip Schofield.
Dec is facing the challenge of presenting the action packed fun shows by himself so we think he could do with Holly’s giggling to lift the mood.
