Danny O’Donoghue has revealed The Voice UK will be axed within the next two years.
The Script singer doesn’t believe the BBC will allow it to continue after failing to create a proper superstar.
“I think it is a little worrying the show hasn’t found a star yet. Every year it doesn’t have a hit is another year it is in jeopardy,” he said.

“If it doesn’t have a hit next year then it will just become a TV show rather than a music platform and that would be sad.
“I’d say it would have two years to run if it doesn’t produce a hit artist.”
The Dubliner was a judge for the first seasons of the show, before quitting to work on time with the band.
And Danny insisted there’s no chance of him making a return to the much-loved swivel chair.

“No. I don’t think I would go back. I love the show and am still a massive fan,” he told the Sun.
“But I want to be remembered for being Danny from The Script not Danny from The Voice.”
