The couple announced their split last night

Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are still set to host the backstage coverage at the National Television Awards together in January – despite their recent split.

News of their split broke last night, and it’s since been reported that Dani was the one who dumped Jack – just four months after being crowned the winners of Love Island.

After the news hit headlines, fans were convinced the pair would pull out of their NTAs hosting gig, but the organisers have since confirmed that they will continue working together.

In a statement, they told The Sun Online, “As winners and stand-out stars of one of this year’s most talked-about shows, Love Island’s Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham will continue in their roles as hosts of the Red Carpet and Backstage and all our social media channels on the night at the 2019 National Television Awards.”

While they will continue to work together professionally, they pair are reportedly at war over the custody of their adorable puppy Sandy following their split.

The couple bought the bulldog pup in October, and now they’re struggling to work out who their pooch should stay with.

An insider said: “Jack adores Sandy and thinks he should be the one to get full time custody of her.”

“Dani is an absolute softie though and while Jack does spend more time with the dog, she adores Sandy. They’ve had a couple of tense chats about her and now it’s at a bit of a stalemate.”

“Hopefully they’ll be able to work something out so they can both still see her, but it’s more than likely the dog will end up with Jack. Unless Dani really kicks up a stink,” they added.
