Mario told the Herald that he was keeping his options open and that “nothing is set in stone.”

Despite not commissioning Mario’s series, RTE have already given the green light to Oliver Callan’s own show Callan’s Kicks.

The new show has already started on RTE One, in the usual Late Late Show slot.
