Cheryl set to perform her comeback single on The X Factor NEXT WEEK

The star will appear on the show two weeks after her ex Liam Payne

Cheryl is set to mark her musical comeback by performing her new single on The X Factor on Sunday, November 15.

The singer is set to release her first single in four years on November 9, and the song is titled ‘Love Made Me Do It’.

The song will be the lead single from her fifth studio album, and it reportedly takes a pop at a number of her famous exes – including Liam Payne, Ashley Cole, and Jean-Bernard Fernandez Versini.

A source told The Sun: “Cheryl has the 18th November penciled in [to appear on The X Factor. Obviously schedules can change but right now, everything is set for that date.”

“Cheryl will be pulling out all of the stops to make sure that this is one of her most talked-about performances to date.”

Cheryl was reportedly offered a slot on Strictly Come Dancing on the same weekend, but she chose to remain loyal to ITV and Simon Cowell.

The mother-of-one’s is set to perform on The X Factor just two weeks after her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne, who she split from in July.

The 35-year-old last performed on the show in 2014, and sang the second single from her fourth studio album Only Human – I Don’t Care.

Cheryl was a judge on The X Factor from 2008–2010, before landing a judging role on The X Factor USA in 2011.

However, her role on The X Factor USA was short-lived, as she was brutally replaced after just a few weeks in by Nicole Scherzinger.

The former Girls Aloud star famously fell out with Simon Cowell over The X Factor USA, but the pair eventually reconciled, and the music mogul convinced her to return as a judge on the UK X Factor for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

On Sunday, Cheryl completely wiped her Instagram page, ahead of her big comeback.

But then on Monday, the star shared a series of butterfly emojis and one glancing eye emoji on Twitter, teasing fans about her return.
