Charlie Murphy: I can't wait to sleep with 'Nidge'… after Darren and Tommy

Charlie Murphy has revealed she can’t wait to sleep with Love/Hate co-star Tom Vaughan Lawlor – in their latest play.

The RTE star – who is best known for playing Tommy’s girlfriend Siobhan – will play his lover in new play Our Few and Evil Days.

And the 26-year-old laughed that after on-screen romps with Robert Sheehan and Killian Scott, they are planning a get-together to discuss her turn-ons.

She said: “The three of them will be comparing notes.”

UK-based Charlie said she is “very excited” about being back in Ireland for the Mark O’Rowe production.

“It’s something you just have to be part of and can’t say no to. It’s lovely to come back and do some theatre for a while, I wanted that,” she said.

“Stage work is a brilliant way to check in with yourself. I’ll be based in Ireland for the next few months anyway.”

It will also be slightly less frantic for Charlie after filming season two of The Village and Love/Hate at the same time.

“That was pretty intense because there was some crossover with Love/Hate for a bit, so I was back and forth like mad to do both of them,” she said.

“It was mental. I’m very intrigued to see what both of them, both programmes, are like now, because it was a total blur.

“There were days that you didn’t know what set you were on, but it was good fun.”
