Brooklyn Nine-Nine will continue! Hallelujah!
The show was cancelled by FOX earlier this week and fans were distraught.
The extent of sorrow they expressed on social media over the discontinuation of the hit comedy series led other stations to take note.
NBC have swooped in to save the day and have announced that they will make a 6th series of the program.
Stars of the show confirmed the great news on Twitter.
Stephanie Beatriz thanked fans for their outrage and believes they’re the reason the show has been saved.
She tweeted, “SQUAD YOU DID IT #BROOKLYN99 WILL BE ON NBC FOR OUR 6th SEASON!”
