Bressie insists The Voice won't tone down – and will continue to be too SEXY for TV

Bressie has insisted the Voice of Ireland won’t become more sedate – insisting it will continue being too sexy for TV.

The BAI upheld a complaint about explicit dancing on the RTE One series, claiming it was too much to show simulated sex at 6.30pm.

But ex-Blizzards frontman Bressie vowed to make sure the dancing routines are just as sexy as ever.

Too sexy: The BAI said this routine went too far

He said: “Not for a second is it going to change the way we do anything. Nothing will change and if there are more complaints, there are more complaints.

“That’s the way we make The Voice Of Ireland, and if it does offend someone we don’t go out with that intention.

“Sometimes people take offence, there were 600,000 people watching who didn’t take offence.”

Meanwhile Bressie admitted that it has been tough getting used to being back at work as he is a “little bit rusty” – especially without Jamelia.

He added: “Myself and Kian were trying get back into the game even though we are veterans at this stage.

“You are sitting there for eight hours a day so you’re going to have to have cracks at each other or else you’d go mad.

“I miss Jamelia – you didn’t cross her but I think there is a bit of that in Una as well. She put me in my place a few times on Wednesday for being a pain in the hole.”
