Billy McGuinness won't let Linda Martin feud die – and wishes Christy Dignam had been there to back him up

Billy McGuinness has refused to let his feud with Linda Martin die – admitting he wishes Christy Dignam was beside him to also put a dig in.

The Aslan star famously feuded with the panto legend after claiming that along with Louis Walsh they were fixing the result of our Eurovision selection towards Eoin Quigg.

And Billy – who was called “an odious little man” by Linda during a stand-up row – admitted he would have been more confident if Christy had been there to help.

He added: “Christy said Linda was backing her boss and sticking up for him, but I wish Christy had of been sitting beside me. I would have felt a lot more confident.”

However Linda has hit back, admitting she hasn’t heard his latest claims, but added: “I wouldn’t even want to know anyway.”

But Billy is standing right by his original claims – insisting that he still has a huge problem with Louis Walsh.

Speaking on the Imelda May Show, he added: “What really pissed me off was when I saw Louis Walsh was on the panel.

“I think he’s responsible for bringing so much bad music to Irish radio in the last 20 years. He was connected to Casey and Eoin Quigg on The X Factor.

“My gripe was that he shouldn’t have been on the panel, he should have had nothing to do with it.”
