Billie Piper has revealed she wants to move to Ireland after filming her latest TV show here.
The ex-pop star spent months on-and-off in Dublin while playing Belfast prostitute Brona Croft in new Victorian horror drama Penny Dreadful.
And the 31-year-old says she had a particularly good time drinking in “boys’ pubs on Baggot Street” with co-star Josh Hartnett.
“We called it ‘Dangerous Ireland’ but I had a great time. It was good for me,” she said.

“It was around Christmas time so there were a lot of parties on. I would like to live in Ireland. I’d love to do something there. That’s the future.”
However Billie admits she had a real issue getting the Northern Irish accent right for the role even after months working with a voice coach.
“It was a hard accent, a Northern Irish accent is sometimes hard to understand,” she told the Irish Sun.
“We had to be mindful of it being too Belfast, and soften it to make sure everything you said was heard.”
