Back on afternoon TV: Sile Seoige joins Late Lunch Live as co-presenter

Sile Seoige is making her return to daytime television – as she joins Late Lunch Live.

The Galway presenter will be back on an afternoon sofa for the first time since 2009, after she hosted Seoige with her sister Grainne.

Bosses have announced the TV3 afternoon show programme will be co-hosted by Sile as Martin King is sick.

And Sile, 35, admitted she can’t wait to be back on afternoon TV with Lucy Kennedy.

She said: “I always have great craic when I go on Late Lunch Live and I’ve known Lucy for years so I can’t wait to sit beside her on the couch! Forget Late Lunch Live, it’s all about Ladies Who Lunch tomorrow.”

They will be joined by former Eurovision winner Niamh Kavanagh who will star as the Evil Stepmother in Cinderella – the Cheerios Panto at the Tivoli Theatre.

It comes as Sile will next week release her celebrity charity Christmas single Maybe This Christmas in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation and the ISPCC’s Childline services.
