RTE legend Anne Doyle has insisted she isn’t one of the country’s sexiest women.
The Wexford presenter regularly finds herself on lists of the ladies Irish men fancy the most.
But Anne laughed that lads only find her hot because they’ve forgotten what she looks like since quitting RTE at Christmas in 2011.
Asked about being one of our most fancied women, the 61-year-old said: “That’s because they haven’t seen me for years.”

Meanwhile, Anne admitted watching the news has become far, far more enjoyable when you are not covering the stories – after 30 years on the air.
She added: “I have been very well, I’ve been enjoying myself immensely and I’ve had an opportunity to do the things I like best, which is not a lot in terms of hard work. I’ve been able to travel quite a lot and generally amuse myself.”

But Anne hasn’t cut all her ties with RTE – and still meets up with pal Bryan Dobson.
“Amongst your colleagues there are always people who are friends so I see them anyway and then meet the others from time to time,” she told the Mirror.
“They all seem to be getting on grand and don’t miss me at all.”
