Amy Hart’s father found it ‘too painful’ to watch her on Love Island

The air hostess has reportedly left the villa

Amy Hart’s father has admitted it was “too painful” to watch her on Love Island, after she sensationally quit the show.

The 54-year-old deleted his social media accounts and was forced to stop watching his daughter on the ITV2 show, as he found it too upsetting.

A source told The Sun: “Ian’s a normal father who finds it concerning to watch his daughter go through the rigours of Love Island.”

From ITV Studios

“He can’t bear to read all the upsetting opinions on the internet about her. He has taken down his Facebook account and now refuses to watch the show.

“Any father would find this sort of thing very tough to watch while powerless to intervene.”

Thankfully, it looks like Amy will be reunited with her father very soon, as the air hostess has reportedly walked out of the villa, after Curtis Pritchard broke her heart by dumping her.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
