Actress Claudia Carroll is returning to Carrigstown to the role that made her a star just in time for Christmas.
The chick-lit author will be once again playing Nicola Prendergast who regularly caused drama on the RTE series.
When she was last on our screens, Nicola was dating Paul and argued with ex-friend Niamh.
Now she is back to try and snatch Paul back which we think Niamh will probably not be too happy about.

“In many ways it felt like I had never been away” Claudia said.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, the actress revealed what we can expect from Nicola:
“Nicola knows Paul is on his own, so he’s lonely and vulnerable and it’s Christmas Eve and Niamh is living across the road with this younger guy.
Nicola catches Paul at a very low point and takes advantage.”

Since leaving our screens, Claudia has kept busy with a successful career writing novels.
Her 11th book  Love Me Or Leave Me is out at the moment.
