2015 Rose of Tralee is a massive ratings hit

The Rose of Tralee festival continued to be a massive ratings success this year – with a peak of 760,300 tuning in to watch Meath Rose Elysha Brennan taking the crown.

The 56th annual festival reached an audience of 1.7 million viewers over the two days, reaching 42% of all Irish viewers, making it one of the highest rated programmes of the year.

It’s been another incredible year.  This is my sixth year hosting the Rose of Tralee and it just keeps getting better,” host Daithi O’Se said.

“The atmosphere has been outstanding all week long and the two live shows were just amazing.  I’m thrilled for Elysha.
