Conor McGregor buys 10 suits worth up to $10,000 each at a time

Each of Conor McGregor’s custom-made suits takes 60 hours to make and costs thousands of dollars.

The UFC fighter orders eight to 10 suits every time he goes on a new publicity tour and each one can cost up to $10,000, according to David Heil, the CEO of David August clothing who has worked with Conor for years.

David told TMZ: “Every outfit I make for him takes 60 hours. He likes to wear his suits high and tight and really tailored, and his size changes all the time depending on his fights. So we’re always measuring him to make sure it fits exactly how he wants it.

“From the suits down to the bow ties to the cuff links, he’s wearing David August.

“He’s such a style guy … he’s always been that way since the day I met him. He takes everything and makes it his own. It takes a guy with the right mind to pull off these extreme looks, and he does.”

Conor has gone from a trainee plumber living in Dublin to a champion fighter living in Las Vegas and previously insisted his life on the dole has made him even more grateful for his success.

“Who has climbed to the pinnacle of the fight game like this? Nobody from Ireland. And to do it in the time I’ve done it, so quick? It’s mind-blowing,” he said.

“But I never forget the struggles. I never forget where I came from. I never ever forget the hard times. I pinch myself because I am surrounded by luxury. But make no mistake, it’s luxury built on sacrifice.”
