Graham Norton earned a whopping €3.4 million (£2.97m) for hosting his BBC chat show in 2018.
This means the Irish TV presenter made €106,577 per episode last year, as he hosted 31 Graham Norton Show’s and one Graham Norton Good Guest Guide in total.
But that’s not all, Graham also earned money from hosting his BBC Radio 2 show, and from taking part in a range of other programmes and series.
So, Graham’s combined pay from the BBC and So Television totalled €4.1 million for 2018.
Speaking about the attention his wage receives every year, Graham said: “All the people who say, ‘He earns that, he doesn’t deserve that,’ they’re absolutely right.”
“You cannot justify my wages, so I don’t try. Am I still cashing the cheques? Yes, because somehow the market forces have decreed this is my value.”
