Xpose star Aisling O’Loughlin is “celebrating life” this Christmas after her partner beat cancer.
The TV3 presenter’s partner Nick MacInnes underwent chemotherapy after his battle with leukaemia, which doctors feared would be terminal.
And Aisling – who has two children with Nick – says it will be a very special Christmas this year given he is around to share it with her.

She said: “We have a lot to celebrate this year. Nick is here to celebrate and that could have been very different.
“So we are celebrating life itself this year and counting our blessings. It’s a very special Christmas for us.”
And Aisling, 35, also revealed how there is one extremely lucky turkey around Dublin after they couldn’t bring themselves to pluck it last year.

“Last year we got a turkey and tried to raise it for Christmas dinner but we grew too attached so we ended up going down the supermarket and buying one,” she said.
“I could never muster up the courage to pluck it. I don’t know where the turkey went he flew off after Christmas so he’s flying over Ireland.”
