X Factor‘s Brendan Murray has said that he is “delighted” to be through to the show’s semi-final and thanked fans for their support.
The singer was overcome with excitement last night, when it was announced that he will be heading to the semi-finals, after his incredible performance on Saturday.
The 22-year-old has since taken to social media to express his gratefulness to fans and shared a snap of the moment he got through to the next stage of the competition.
“4 months ago I auditioned for the X factor, Next weekend I’m the semi final!” the plumber wrote on Instagram.
“Thank you so much to everyone for believing in me and supporting me! I’m delighted to be where I am.”
“Can someone tell me what’s going on? IM IN THE SEMI FINAL!!! I cannot express how thankful I am to every single person who picked up the phone and voted for me! thank you so much guys,” he said in another Insta post.
“There’s about 100 things on mind right now, legends! Love you all,” he continued.
The X Factor semi-finals are on next weekend on Virgin Media One.
