Westlife’s brand new album, Spectrum, is set to become the fastest-selling album of 2019.
The album, their first in almost a decade, was released on Friday and so far has sold over 50,000 copies.
According to the Irish Official Charts, if the album continues the momentum, it will become Westlife’s 11th number one album.
At the rate at which the album is selling, the lads are also set to land their first UK number one in 12 years.
The last time they had a number one album in the UK was in 2007 with Back Home.
Westlife made their return to UK TV last Sunday when they performed on Strictly Come Dancing.
However, the band’s performance divided the audience due to sound issues.
They are set to perform on the Late Late Show this Friday, and producers are looking for fans to fill the audience.
The official chart for the week will be revealed on Friday at 3pm.
