Stephen Fry spoke a cúpla focail recently and opened up about his time in the West Of Ireland.
The broadcaster is very familiar with the Irish landscape having spent some time in the Gaeltacht area before.
The actor also recalled his time on TG4’s Ros na Rún in which he had a small speaking role and showed off his Irish tongue.
“I had the great good fortune to appear in Ros na Rún, the famous Irish language drama,” he said.

“I’ve spent many happy days of my life staying in the Gaeltacht area and I know what a living language it is,” he said in a video recorded for RTÉ.
“I think it’s an immensely important part of being Irish and is one of the many things that makes being Irish special and makes non-Irish people like me grind our teeth in envy of what it is that you have.
