Chaos ensued in The Bridge 1859 when one of the beer tanks burst leading to an impromptu foam party.

The Ballsbridge pub, owned by Rob and Dave Kearney, along with Sean O’Brien and Jamie Heaslip was turned into a paddling pool of beer this afternoon.

One quick-thinking member of bar staff tried to fill himself a bin sized drink to prevent further spillage, but his efforts were to no avail as the tank continued to spray its contents all over the establishment.

Jamie Heaslip posted a video of the explosion on Instagram saying, “Have you ever wondered if we have beer in our Tanks in the @thebridge1859 ….. well here’s proof….. at our not so planned foam party last night 😮🙈🍺”
