New Zealand rugby player Dan Carter was in Dublin today, and he had a very special message for Irish rugby star Tommy Bowe – he wants a pair of his shoes.
Goss.ie chatted to the All Blacks star at the launch of the Foróige Youth Citizenship Awards 2016 in partnership with Aldi, and he admitted that despite being familiar with Tommy Bowe on the field – he hasn’t sent him a pair of shoes from his footwear line yet.
Shouting out the fellow rugby legend, Dan said, “He hasn’t [given me a pair], but if he’s watching this – I’d love a pair… Please.”

While Dan was rocking a pair of Kanye West’s Yeezys today, we reckon he genuinely would love to sport a pair of Tommy’s shoes – so send them on Bowe!
The rugby legend also chatted about having pints with the Irish rugby lads, working with Ronan O’Gara over in Paris in Racing Métro, his thoughts on Conor McGregor, getting to grips with the Irish language and much more.

The Foróige Youth Citizenship Awards 2016 in partnership with Aldi will take place in the Citywest Hotel and Conference Centre on July 2 and will involve Foróige members from all 611 clubs around the country.
