WATCH: Ed Sheeran reunited with Toy Show’s Aimee Keogh on last night’s Late Late Show

The singer also spoke about his love for Ireland

Ed Sheeran appeared on the Late Late Show last night, and was reunited with Aimee Keogh – who he surprised on The Late Late Toy Show three years ago.

In a pre-recorded interview, the singer looked back at the magical moment he surprised one of his biggest fans on the Toy Show – which has become one of the most memorable moments in the show’s history.

Aimee appeared in the audience, and spoke about the “unbelievable experience”, and thanked everyone for making her dreams come true by meeting one of her idols.

In the interview, Ed also admitted that he’s had a Bond theme tune written for about three years – just in case he’s ever asked.

“With Bond, I’ve had a theme tune written for about three years, just in case!”

When questioned whether he’d been asked to do a Bond theme yet, he said “no”, but insisted that “it is good” and that if he’s ever called – he’ll just say “right, there you go!”

Ed also performed his hit single Perfect on the show, as well as Nancy Mulligan (which was inspired by his Irish grandparents!), and he was also joined by Picture This, Lisa Hannigan, and Beoga to sing the Pogues’ Christmas classic – Fairytale of New York.
