Vogue Williams ‘would pay good money’ to delete all traces of her previous relationship from the internet

The presenter was previously married to Brian McFadden

Vogue Williams has revealed that she would “pay good money” to delete all traces of a previous relationship from the internet.

The TV presenter, who recently welcomed her first child Theodore with husband Spencer Matthews, has filmed a new documentary called ‘Vogue: Trial By Social Media’, which explores the power of online platforms.

In the doc, Vogue chats to Tony McChrystal from Reputation Defender, an online service which helps to clean up images of celebrities and businesses, who revealed that they do get calls from famous people.

He said: “Celebrities call us up because they have got pictures of terrible haircuts or even ex-partners they don’t want to be associated with anymore.”

Intrigued, Vogue replied: “Oh my God, could you delete a whole relationship for me? I would actually pay good money.”

Vogue famously married former Westlife star Brian McFadden in 2012, but the pair split in 2015 after just three years of marriage.

During the programme, Vogue also admitted, “I actually hate social media, I think it is just nasty. People have turned it into something vicious.”

“I don’t imagine it is going to go away because you have to weigh up the good with the bad.

“There is a lot of good on social media as well. It’s the bad can be so bad that it almost outshines the good.”

“I shouldn’t have to put up with trolling, but I have a thicker skin, I’m 32, I’m able to handle it. It’s the younger generation. I couldn’t have dealt with that when I was younger, it really is bad for anyone’s mental health.

“I just worry about the kids growing up and their whole life is surrounded by social media. I’m glad I grew up without a phone,” she added.

Vogue: Trial By Social Media airs on Wednesday at 9.30pm on RTE Two.
