Una Foden is returning to work just ONE month after giving birth

Tipperary singer Una Foden has revealed she is only taking a few weeks maternity leave.

The Saturdays star is set to debut on our screens this Sunday on RTE One – as she becomes a coach on The Voice of Ireland.

While the pre-recorded shows air from this week on, the live shows start in March, but Una is due to give birth just weeks before hand.

“It’s fine, I am used to it I guess because with my last pregnancy,” she explained.

“I was always very active and working right up until having the baby so it has been quite similar this time.

“I am going to take it very easy in January until the baby comes in February and then I will be back towards the  and of March to do the live shows,” she told the Irish Mirror.

“That’s how I operate anyway.”

Thankfully Una has had an easy enough pregnancy, and admitted she hasn’t even suffered from morning sickness.

“I haven’t been sick apart from some heartburn – that’s my biggest complaint at the moment. They say that
means you’re having a hairy baby,” she said.
