Our Top 10 Favourite Irish Celebrity Mums

For the day that's in it!

It’s officially Mother’s Day weekend, so we thought it would be fitting to bring you a list of our favourite Irish celebrity mums.

There are no harder working people on this earth than mothers, and if we could, we’d put every single one of them on this list.

Sadly, we can’t squeeze them all in here – so instead we’ve listed our Top 10 favourite celeb mums this country has to offer.

1. Lucy Kennedy

Lucy may have won Best Female TV Presenter at the Gossies this year, but she also gets our vote for being the best mum.

The Ireland’s Got Talent host has had the busiest year ever – but has still managed to be there for her three children, Holly, Jack and Jessica.

The presenter is parent to her three kids with husband Richard Governey, and it looks like three is their magic number as Lucy previously admitted that she has no plans for a fourth baby.

2. Amy Huberman

Actress Amy Huberman has been one of our favourite Irish celeb mums ever since she welcomed her daughter Sadie back in 2013.

Amy, who married rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll in 2010, went on to welcome son Billy into the world in November 2014 – but that hasn’t stopped her career from excelling.

Despite previously admitting that she thought she’d never get work again after having her children, Amy went on to land the lead role in hit RTÉ legal drama Striking Out last year – and she’s continued to kick ass ever since.

3. Una Healy

The Saturdays star Una Foden first became a mum in March 2012 when she gave birth to daughter Aoife Belle.

The Tipperary beauty got married just a few months later in the summer to rugby player Ben Foden.

The happy couple added to their brood once more when their son Tadhg was born in February 2015.

Although Una is a full-time mum, she’s still working on her solo career, and plans to get back on the road this year.

4. Pippa O’Connor

Another Irish celeb on our list celebrating Mother’s Day is Pippa O’Connor.

amy The model mum and husband Brian Ormond welcomed son Ollie into the world in 2013, and the couple later welcomed their baby boy Louis in 2016.

Despite running around after two kids, Pippa has successfully managed to build her own empire over the past few years.

From Fashion Factories, her POCO denim line, to launching her own book – this working mama is a force to be reckoned with.

However, they’ll be celebrating as a family of five next year as Karen is due to give birth to her third baby in June.

6. Miriam O’Callaghan

No Mother’s Day list would be complete without Miriam O’Callaghan.

The RTÉ star has quite the large brood, with eight kids under her belt – four boys and four girls.

Just last year, Miriam’s eldest daughter Alannah got married in Kerry – so we’re sure Miriam has her fingers crossed for some grandkids very soon.

7. Yvonne Connolly

A cooking queen, presenter and former model – Yvonne Keating is the mum everyone wants.

The 44-year-old, who has been dating her beau John Conroy for over five years, is the best mum to her three children – Jack, Ali, and Missy Keating.

Always making time for her kids, Yvonne is on our list for still looking fantastic while running around as a busy mum.

Sile Seoige welcomed her first child, Cathal, with partner Damien O’Farrell back in August 2017.

It was a particularly special moment for Sile, as she previously battled thyroid cancer and feared she would never have children.

At the time of Cathal’s birth, Sile said, “Feeling incredibly lucky, thankful & so so happy! Our baby boy arrived safe & sound in the early hours of the 2nd of August and we’re in love. Thanks so much for all the messages…a lot of you had a feeling something was stirring!”
