Irish teacher Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe is set to marry one of Prince William’s best friends.
It was revealed this weekend that Lucy got engaged to Thomas van Straubenzee, who proposed last week.
While details of the nuptials have been kept under wraps so far, it is expected Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be involved in the ceremony.
According to the Sunday Times, Lucy, 31, teaches at the school where Prince George attends; Thomas’s Battersea School.
Lucy is a sister of Olympic pentathlete Arther Lanigan-O’Keeffe and the daughter of barrister Stephen Lanigan-O’Keeffe.
Her future husband, owns a property business and was previously married to Lady Mielissa Percy but split after three years of marriage.
With the pair being such close friends, Prince William is expected to be an usher at the wedding.
