The White Moose Cafe announce second “Adopt A Dog Day”

The White Moose Cafe in Phibsborough, Dublin, are hosting their second Adopt A Dog Day at their location on the North Circular Road.

The idea behind the day is to get wannabe owners acquainted with shelter dogs, in the hopes that the animals can find a forever home.

“So excited to announce that our next ‘Adopt A Dog Day’ will take place on Saturday 15th June from 12:00 – 14:00 in our Doggy Park,” reads a post on the cafe’s social media page.

The Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will be providing the furry friends on the day.

“This is our second event and this time it’s @wicklowspca who will be bringing over a number of adorable doggies who are all looking for forever homes!”

The cafe and hotel has a perfectly purpose built dog park located at the front of their building, where the dogs can interact with one another and potential new families.

While you are unable to take a dog home that day, if you turn up and find your perfect canine companion, you can begin the process of adoption.

“If you fall in love with a dog on the day, you can start the process of adopting him/her with the lovely people from @wicklowspca,”  the cafe replied in the comments section of their post.

“They will need to be sure that you suit the dog just as much as he/she suits you.”
