The first guests this weekend’s Late Late Show have been announced

The Late Late Show is finally back on our screens – and the line up has been confirmed.

Ryan Tubridy will be chatting all things Donald Trump, with controversial journalist Piers Morgan.

The TV star boasts that he is close friends with the President, and will be revealing why he thinks we should welcome Trump with open arms when he visits Ireland in November.

Ryan will also chat to arguably the most popular contestant at this year’s Rose of Tralee; Carlow Rose Shauna Ray Lacey.

She won the hearts of the nation when she opened about her parents’ struggle with heroin addiction and the impact it had on her life.

Ryan is also set to be joined in studio by a host of sporting stars including the Irish Senior Women’s Hockey Team.

The team made history becoming the first Irish sporting team to reach a World Cup final and will be chatting about their triumph.

Meanwhile after waiting 45 years, the Limerick Senior Hurling team finally lifted the Liam MacCarthy Cup much to the joy of their county and manager John Kiely, captain Declan Hannon and strength and conditioning coach Joe O’Connor will be in studio to discuss how they did it.

Ryan will also chat to gymnast Rhys McClenaghan, hurdler Thomas Barr and swimmer Ellen Keane.

And finally; it was the rescue mission that gripped the world and Clare based cave diver Jim Warny found himself right in the middle of it when he helped to successfully rescue 12 young boys and their coach trapped in a Thai cave.

He will tell viewers just how dangerous the mission was for the divers, why he was willing to risk his life to save the group and how close to disaster the boys really were.

The Late Late Show is back on RTÉ One, Friday, September 7th at 9.35pm
