Suzanne Jackson has revealed what advice she would give to her 18-year-old self as she celebrates her 35th birthday.
Posting a picture as she celebrated her birthday in Dubai with husband Dylan, Suzanne reflected on her younger self.
“I can’t believe I’m 35, where have the years gone?” she expressed on her Instagram feed.
“If I could write my 18-year-old self a little letter, it would be this; fair and learn from it,” she penned.
“Get back up, dust yourself off and start again. Nothing great ever comes from your comfort zone.”
“Love, but don’t take any sh*t. Learn to wait for the right man, the one who will look at you like you’re golden and will love you anyway, even with your flaws,” she said, sharing insight into her marriage.
“Surround yourself with the right people, for those you surround yourself with, you become.”
“Ignore the naysayers. Hurt people, hurt people.”
Paying homage to her mum, she wrote: “Listen to your mum, she really does know best. And lastly, go for it. put yourself out there. Say yes to every opportunity even though you may not have the slightest idea how to do it and learn along the way.
“In the end, everything will be ok, and if it’s not, it’s not the end.”
