Suzanne Jackson hits back at critics of her newest SOSU product

Suzanne Jackson has hit back at critics of her newest SOSU product.

The top blogger recently released her Hot Fire eyeshadow palette, which retails at €29.95.

Although the brunette has received rave reviews, she’s also spotted some negative comments, and took to Snapchat to address the critics.

While doing her makeup on her Snapchat story, Suzanne said, “The colours are super pigmented, I have read some reviews online and seen some reviews saying that they’re not pigmented enough.”

“But for me, who doesn’t like black, witchy smokey eyes they’re absolutely perfect and they’re super, super, super easy to blend which I think is the most important thing about the palette.

“So I created this palette for the consumer, a girl that may not be super advanced in terms of blending. And I myself could not be arsed to sit there blending my makeup for 20 minutes, I just want to put on colours, smoke it up, and just blend it super quick and that’s what my colours do,” she explained.

“Because I wanted my powders super pigmented there is a little bit of fall off, but that’s not a bad thing. People are making fall off a bad thing these days since the Subculture palette that Anastasia Beverly Hills brought to the market.

“Fall off is not a bad thing, basically, in my opinion, if you get fall off it means there super pigmented, if you don’t it means you have to keep blending and building it up.”

“So I don’t see fall off as a bad thing, and I had lots of research done when I was creating this palette. I brought lots of makeup artists in and I asked them all the same question, ‘is fall off a bad thing?’, and they said, ‘no, it just means that its pigmented’.

“So don’t let that discourage you or don’t jump on that bandwagon, I just think it’s bulls**t basically.

“Now, I don’t claim to be a makeup artist, yes I am beautician and I did learn about makeup but this is just my personal opinion. So, if you like me and my product then you’ll take my tips on board, if you don’t like me then you’ll probably use my tips against me, but hey that’s life.

“Now, another negative review or feedback that I read is that they blend away, but yes, they do blend away because I created this palette for the consumer and I want them to be easy to blend,” she continued.

Suzanne also addressed comments that her SOSU products are produced as a result of private labelling.

“I am not a private label, I develop my product from scratch, and I’m proud to say that. I hate being accused of private label, because that’s the easy route. I put so much love, effort and passion into everything that I create.

“And this eyeshadow palette, there is a certain way to work it and use it and I will educate you guys on that.

“So for those of you who love it, thank you so much. And for those of you who don’t like it, that’s ok. And for those of you who don’t like it because you don’t like – well that was always going to happen!”

“I’ll do a tutorial and I’ll show you how to get the most out of it, like I do with all of my palettes.

“Lots of you are saying that you’ve only read positive reviews. Yeah, I’ve read lots of positive, probably like 80-90% positive – but there is that 10% negative, and some people are genuine and some people are just w***ers.

“So for the people that are genuine, I’m just addressing their comments and explaining why there might be fall out, or why they blend super easy.

“And for those of you saying that you love that I’m so honest – I am so honest, I don’t come on here to pretend to be Ms. Perfect, I just say it how it is and that’s the way I’ll always be,” she added.
