Strictly stars have shown their support for AJ and Curtis Pritchard following an alleged nightclub attack.

AJ is a professional dancer on Strictly Coming Dancing, while his brother, Curtis, is on Dancing with the Stars Ireland.

Last night RTÉ announced that Curtis has been forced to pull out of the show due to “injuries sustained” in an “incident on 26 December”, just over a week before it is set to begin.

According to Then Sun, the brothers were attacked by eight men while on “a relaxed evening with friends”.

A witness told the publication that the dancers were brutally attacked by the group and that AJ had to pull his brother away from the men, as it looked like he had passed out.

The brothers have received a huge amount of support online, as AJ’s fellow Strictly co-stars have taken to social media to show their disgust in the incident.

“Wtf is wrong with this people ????? Guys I’m so sorry @CurtisPritchard @Aj11Ace I’m with you all the way !! Disgusting !!!!” pro-dancer, Giovanni Pernice, tweeted.

“I can’t believe what happen to @Aj11Ace and @CurtisPritchard . Sending lots of love your way. It’s Christmas people! Where is humanity going? #disappointed,” Katya Jones wrote.

“So sad to hear about @Aj11Ace and @CurtisPritchard hope you boys are ok xxxxxx,” Dianne Buswell tweeted.

Meanwhile, The Sun also reportedly that AJ is recovering from severe cuts and bruising, while his brother needs surgery on his knee.
