Storm Keating has opened up about husband Ronan Keating’s past affair.
The Australian beauty admitted that she wasn’t bothered by Ronan’s history, after he split from Yvonne Connolly following a secret relationship with dancer Francine Cornell.
When asked by VIP Magazine if his past bothered her, Storm said, “Not at all.
“It was obvious to me that he was one of the good guys who just happened to go through what, unfortunately, a lot of people seem to go through these days.

“Even good guys can make mistakes (as well as good women) but as everyone knows, there’s often a very good reason behind it.”
While Ronan and Storm enjoy a luxury lifestyle between the UK, Ireland and Australia – Storm admitted that their life has never been perfect.
“I wouldn’t say it was a fairytale actually – in a fairytale, everything seems easy and there aren’t grown up decisions to make.

“Even to come out publicly that we were dating was so extraordinarily difficult because there were so many people involved – the kids especially – and you don’t want to go there unless you know for sure that it’s going to be for the rest of your life.
“It’s the opposite of a normal dating situation where you have the luxury of time and can just shrug your shoulders and move on if it doesn’t work.
“We had to be responsible and we had a lot of serious things to consider from the get-go.”

While Storm adores Ronan’s kids Jack, Missy and Ali – she revealed that she was apprehensive about getting into the relationship as she didn’t want to leave her life in Australia behind.
“I was not very quick to throw myself into the relationship to be honest.
“I was happy in my career and I have a great family and friend circle in Australia and I knew committing to Ro meant moving to the other side of the world – I was never going to ask Ro to move to Australia when his kids are in Ireland.

Speaking about being thrown into the public eye by dating Ronan, Storm admitted that the idea didn’t sound appealing to her at all initially.
“I wasn’t just taking a chance on a new relationship, I was taking a chance on a whole new way of life.
“A life involved being in the public eye and at the mercy of the press, which was not appealing to me at all,” she added.
