Steal her style: Louise Cooney’s DIY festival look slayed at Forbidden Fruit

If you have nothing to wear to Forbidden Fruit this weekend, look no further for inspiration than top Irish influencer Louise Cooney.

The fashionista hit up day one of the three-day Dublin-based music festival yesterday, and rocked a distinctive look that wouldn’t have been out of place at Coachella.

Sporting a Western style hat and denim shorts, it was Lou Coo’s bandana-style custom made top that caught our eye.

The content creator went to ZipYard to have a bandana headscarf customised into a tie-back top.

The stunning, vintage-esque head scarf was printed with a carnival scene, and looked gorge paired with Louise’s statement gold jewelry and laid-back denim.

However, if you want to get the look in a time crunch, you can nab it without getting out the sewing basket.

All you have to do is fold a large, square headscarf in half to make a triangular shape.

Then, with the mid point of the triangle in front of you and pointing town towards the floor, place the scarf across your chest and tie it at the back using the two leftover triangle points.

Secure with a safety pin to avoid exposure during festival dancing and voila.

If you don’t have a vintage headscarf to commit to the look, plenty of online stores carry similar styles, including this gorge Nasty Gal piece that you can shop HERE.
