This week we chatted to the celebrity go-to for lip fillers – Alicja Puk.
Her Blanchardstown based clinic is constantly out the door, and some of Ireland’s biggest influencers are her clients.
Q.What inspired you to start your own business?
“I have been in the beauty industry for 25 years. I decided to start filler injections after I could not find someone good at these things.
“I was never really fully happy with other people’s work on me, many doctors and nurses or beauty therapists never made me feel 100% happy with the outcome.
“I decided I wanted to try to do it myself. I am a perfectionist and wanted to give people the opportunity of getting fillers done just the way they would like them.
Q. Tell us about your treatments?
“I offer Dermafillers and lip enhancements, and I’m known for using my own special technique,
“I also offer cheek fillers, under eye fillers, nose corrections jawline/Chin fillers, smile line fillers, mesotherapy.
“And we also offer semi permanent make up foundation treatment and eyebrows done by my daughter Oliwia and soon we will have laser hair removal too.”
Q. What’s the most popular treatment customers look for?
“The most popular treatment is lip enchancements that is what im known for. And now the semi-permanent makeup is getting very popular.”
Q. What’s a normal working week like for you?
“Very very very busy, I work all day, all morning and until late in the evening.
Q. What’s your favourite thing about your job?
“I love that I can make people feel better about them selfs.”
Q: What was your dream job growing up?
“I was always into beauty since small age and I knew I would be going in that direction with my career.”
Q. What is your ultimate goal for your business?
“To prove that the title is not all in this industry, that bad jobs are done by both beauty therepist and nurses out there as well.
“if you’re good you’re good…and i am good, the best in ireland definitely.”
Q: What makes you stand out from your competitors?
“I care about my clients, it’s not just the money part that makes me run my business, it’s because I want to make people happy with themselves.
“I want to try to help them feel a little bit better with them elves get rid of some imperfections that are upsetting them.
“I love challenging cases too. I like fixing bad jobs for people and show them that it can be beautiful again.”
Q. What product/treatment can you not live without?
“Lip enchantments and laser(fraxel) on the face, that’s why I decided to bring the laser treatment to my clinic soon.”
Q: What would you like to accomplish in the next 5 years?
“The next step in the clinic is providing training for derma fillers to other people, it definitely will be much quicker than 5 years like some courses.
“People will be able to complete it in a few months. We are expanding my clinic into different sections also, so that’s exciting.”
