Sinead O’Connor has revealed she is back on online dating websites.
But the Take Me To Church had problems getting the “mature dating sites” to believe it was actually her.
And Sinead insisted that unlike her use of Plenty of Fish two years ago she isn’t just looking for sex this time round.
“I’ve decided I wanna make some friends and have some dinner companions despite not ever wanting to see or indeed suck a d**k again,” she said.

“So I’ve joined myself a few ‘mature’ dating sites. Figuring I’ll meet people who like me, can’t actually be f**ked but would like company for dinner now and then.
“I got my profile picture rejected by like three of the sites because they didn’t believe I was me. That was after I paid.
“Joined like three or four. Paid for a month on each. Hope to have an interesting dinner companion at least once per weekend.
“You know you’re getting old when the spunk-fest which is POF no longer appeals. Hoping on the mature sites there’ll be guys who don’t even get hard ons. Can’t get any easier than that.
“Dinner is what I’ve said I’d like, so we’ll see where that gets me. Could do with putting on a pound or two.”

Previously Sinead was in a relationship with drugs counsellor Barry Herridge, but they split two weeks after getting hitched in Las Vegas.
They did end up reconnecting and are still best friends – but decided they couldn’t be lovers.
And, writing on her online blog, Sinead admitted if she does find a man she likes she needs to change her romantic habits.
“Me and my fellas are similar types. We don’t socialise with anyone but each other. We’re each other’s only close friend,” she said.
“Thats kind of dumb. We’re kind of isolators. I wanna really snap out of that.
“I don’t want to be anyone’s only anything, except my kid’s only Mum. I don’t want anyone to be my only anything, except God.”
